When most people picture a party on a yacht, they picture a friend’s getaway or a wedding. However, there are many unique ways of celebrating 6 other holidays that we want to suggest to you. 

1. Memorial Day

Memorial day is a holiday to commemorate the services to those who died when carrying out their duties. We honor this day because it belongs to American history and tradition. 

This holiday has become the symbol for the start of the summer. It’s a time to spend with your family and friends and that’s why at Sandbar we offer you moments of relaxation aboard on a yacht. 2. Independence Day

On this date we celebrate the birth of American independence, also as Fourth of July. Over the years this holiday is commonly associated with family reunions including barbecues and picnics; festivities such as concerts, parades, carnivals or fairs. 

Many citizens here in the States take advantage of this national holiday to take the long weekend and getaway on some trips. In addition, fireworks have been a very important part of the celebrations, in the evening everyone gets together in places like parks to watch the fireworks.

3. Labor Day

Labor Day will be on september 6 and it marks the end of the summer season. It’s also known as the “unofficial end of summer”. Ironically speaking, for a day that celebrates work, people sure don’t work. So, enjoy your day off to celebrate the fruits of your work!

Some activities will begin about this time such as school but in order to give families another weekend to vacation. In some states the activities start after the weekend of Labor Day so a yacht will be the perfect plan for your family. Your kids can have fun, playing in the water while you get some drinks, get a nice tan, and enjoy the breeze.

4. Thanksgiving Day

American thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. In 2021, it will be programmed on November 25.
