Cancellation policy
Rentals are not subject to cancellation nor refunds. Should weather not permit safe charter conditions, a rain check or credit of the charter fee will be issued with no expiration, which can be used subject to availability.
This rain check/credit can be transfereable to any friend or family member, if the owner decides on doing so, he/she must send a letter informing to whom is he/she transferring the rain check.
If the client must change the reservation data, time or wants to upgrade to a different yacht, this must be informed at least 48 hours before the date of the charter, otherwise the change won’t be possible. A downgrade to a small yacht will not be possible.
Refunds policy
We cannot predict any issues that may arise on these boats and yacht charters. Although it rarely happens and the equipment is well maintained, it happens and it is in most cases out of our control.
Upon owner’s authorization, we will issue a credit towards a future rental but can not offer any refunds.
In the rare occasion that your reserved boat becomes unavailable, we will gladly accommodate a similar model or upgrade to the next available boat at no additional cost.
Weather policy
Usually, the forecast and weather applications are focused mostly on the city and not on the ocean, therefore the weather on the sea is always nicer!
We normally get a lot of calls about this but when the day comes, the clients will see that the weather is great to go out.
Also please note that if the Captain says it is not safe togo out, we will go ahead and provide a rain check with no expirtion.
FAQ
Is it possible to bring catering to the yachts or small boats?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring catering on our yachts and small boats.
Can we bring drinks on the boat?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring drinks onboard.
Can we go snorkeling or do any other water activities?
Yes, you may go snorkeling, jet skiing, wake boarding or any other water activities you enjoy. During certain special events, other small flotation devices and water accessories are provided at no additional expense.
For your convenience, our captains are very knowledgeable of the waters and the areas where you can go to do each activity.
What do you mean by HALF DAY & FULL DAY?
Half Day means 4 hours, and Full Day means 8 hours. Extra hours will be charged separately.
Do I need a special Permit to drive the boats?
No! All our boats include a captain and crew. You don’t need to worry about driving them, just sit and relax!
Which boats have captain and stewardess and which only captain, and why?
- Boats 39′ feet or smaller: 1 captain due to the size of the yacht.
- Yachts bigger than 40′ feet: 1 captain and 1 stewardess.
- Yachts over 90′ feet usually have: 1 captain, 1 mate and 1 stewardess.
How many bottles of Sparkling Wine are given?
- Boats 39′ feet or smaller: 1 bottle.
- Yachts bigger than 40′ feet: 2 bottles.
What does the Yacht price include?
40′ ft and bigger: Licensed Captain, Certified Stewardess, Fuel at idle speed, Water and Ice. 2 Bottles of Sparkling Wine.
How is the reservation process?
A 50% deposit is required to reserve the Yacht and balance will be due 10 days prior to the charter if it is paid with Credit Card, if it is paid with cash (Zelle) balance will be due the day of the charter or the day before.
Which boats can go to Bimini and Bahamas?
All above the 50′ feet.
Which yachts are available for a private chef?
All above the 50′ feet.
For long trips, how do you calculate the rate?
Full Daily rate + Expenses
Expenses: Fuel, tax, gratuity, immigration fees, food, dockage, drinks, provisions (aprox. 35%)
Bahamas, Bimini, Exumas, The keys, Boca Chica, Isla Morada
- Bimini – min 2 days
- Exumas – min 5 days
- Keys – 3 days
- The rest of the Caribbean – min 5 to 7 days
Do the yachts have sound systems?
Yes, all of our Yachts have excellent sound systems. It is however required to bring and auxiliary cable to plug in your device. Some of our yachts have Bluetooth systems.
Catamaran 50’/60′ sound systems has to be rented.
Are there specific times or as long as it’s 4 or 8 hours?
No, but these are the most common:
- 10 am – 2 pm
- 2 pm – 6 pm
- 3 pm – 7 pm
- 7 pm – 11 pm
Can Jet Skis or Water toys be rented separately?
Yes
Forms of Payment for Boat Rentals
- We accept all major credit cards
- Additional paymeny methods: wire transfer, venmo, Zelle & Quickpay
- Cash and Bank Transfer also accepted
- Sales Tax of 7.0% must be added to the rental price.
- Rental quote price does not include gratuity.
- 7% Tax applies when paid by credit card and cash.
Reservation documents
- We will not be sending any contract nor the Credit Card Authorization From unless it is required to.
- We will only send the charter Recap and the Jetski Rules for Florida
Invoicing
- The invoice will be created the day the client pays the balance.
- First payment won’t be invoiced because that money is fully given to the owner of the vessel so it won’t be deposited in the company’s bank account.
- Both payments first & last will be fully invoiced with the charters date.
Security Deposit Required on ALL Boat Rentals and Yacht Rentals
A security deposit for incidentals will be put on hold on a credit card which will not be charged and will be refunded upon return.
ALL RENTALS NEED A CREDIT CARD ON FILE:
- $300 for rentals fewer than $1,500
- $1,000 for rentals higher than $1,500
